A meeting back in January 2023 at the Tacoma Home and Garden Show with Lyndsey Lamb & Leslie Davis, led to a super exciting and fun opportunity when I was asked if we’d be open to having the truck on one of “Unsellable Houses” episodes! I was beyond excited at the opportunity, but also had no idea what to expect. Thankfully, Lyndsey & Leslie and their team were incredibly sweet, kind and super helpful as we waited for “filming” day to arrive in May. We prepped the truck for an entire day like it was a dress rehearsal. I rearranged the spaces within the truck multiple times wanting it to look just right! We got the final date and said a prayer that the truck would survive the drive! We’d never taken the truck out of the valley…haha! It made it though and we went to work getting it all set up and ready. Only a few things broke between transport and set up…I call that a win! Even though I was SO nervous, as soon as we started filming, I felt like I could relax because Lyndsey and Leslie were so chill and easy to talk with it…especially since they love plants as much as I do! It was so interesting to watch the behind the scenes of it all. The crew, the construction team, the production staff…its quite the process and was super fun to be a part of.
