Blooming Blunders is about a girl with a dream! A dream filled with plants, pottery, flowers, farm life and a TRUCK! This journey began in 2020 when I started selling plants from my garage and then decided to re-vamp a box truck into a mobile indoor plant business. Since 2020…the Truck has been to dozens of markets across the Puget Sound, we moved from an apartment to 2.5 acres (that we now have to learn how to farm!), expanded into three different coffee shops, opened a farm stand at the Riverside Farm location, started a flower field of dahlias, sunflowers & more, added chickens and a dog…and I’m just getting started! 😉 This journey has been filled with so many ups and downs, a handful of injuries, but has also been filled with so many blessings, beautiful experiences and fun! I hope to inspire you on your journey…maybe make you laugh at my clumsiness…and help you fill your home with plants that bring you joy!
A meeting back in January 2023 at the Tacoma Home and Garden Show with Lyndsey Lamb & Leslie Davis, led to a super exciting and fun opportunity when I was asked if we’d be open to having the truck on one of “Unsellable Houses” episodes! I was beyond excited at the opportunity, but also had no idea what to expect. Thankfully, Lyndsey & Leslie and their team were incredibly sweet, kind and super helpful as we waited for “filming” day to arrive in May. We prepped the truck for an entire day like it was a dress rehearsal. I rearranged the spaces within the truck multiple times wanting it to look just right! We got the final date and said a prayer that the truck would survive the drive! We’d never taken the truck out of the valley…haha! It made it though and we went to work getting it all set up and ready. Only a few things broke between transport and set up…I call that a win! Even though I was SO nervous, as soon as we started filming, I felt like I could relax because Lyndsey and Leslie were so chill and easy to talk with it…especially since they love plants as much as I do! It was so interesting to watch the behind the scenes of it all. The crew, the construction team, the production staff…its quite the process and was super fun to be a part of. I felt incredibly humbled and grateful for such a fun experience and hope you all enjoyed watching the episode! If you haven’t seen it yet, you can watch it HERE.
Thanks for continuing to follow and support me on this wildly exciting and fun journey! And special THANK YOU to Lyndsey & Leslie from “Unsellable Houses” and Lamb & Co for giving a girl with a dream and a plant truck the experience of a lifetime! XO ~ Lindsey
